Browse the maps and show us where we can improve!

Browse the background geographic information in the interactive map below using the dropdown menu. You can turn different features on and off using the menu. You can also view a larger map in google maps. Clicking on the feature in both places will show more information about it.

Then, you can use the editable map to show us exactly where you struggle to cross the road, what is your favorite route to the park with the kids, or what would make your grocery shopping trip easier. See instructions for map editing below.

Instruction for editing:

Please mark up the map to help us prioritize pedestrian improvements throughout the city. Mark the map as follows:

  • green pingreen pins/lines: streets and paths that are your favorite walking routes
  • red pinred pins/lines: streets and paths that need the most improvement

  • use the text comment box to explain your concerns, and rate the importance from 1 – 5 (where 1 is the most important)

To add lines and pins on the map, sign in using any Google account (map edits and comments are public), click on the map, then click on the "Edit" button in the upper right corner of the left sidebar. Then select one of the three drawing tools in the upper left corner of the map frame and when you are done marking the map up, save it by clicking "Save" (not always necessary, as saving usually happens automatically) button and then "Done" button.
