Community Visioning Workshop #2

Saturday, August 23rd's Visioning Workshop was the second of two community-wide meetings designed to help the community develop a vision for Mountain View's future. Close to 200 community members participated in the event, making it a great success! Thank you to everyone who attended and to City staff, project team members and open house participants for their valuable contributions.

During the workshop, participants engaged in lively and meaningful group discussions related to future land use and the character of future development and open space throughout the city. As part of this conversation, community members weighed in on which areas they believe the City should prioritize as key focus areas for potential change.

In addition, participants had the opportunity to learn more about important General Plan update trends and issues and share their input and feedback related to a draft vision statement for Mountain View.

The results of the Visioning Meeting will be used to create a planning framework for the General Plan Update process. Check back soon to learn more about the workshop findings!
