The Project Management Team advises the City of Mountain View’s General Plan Update process and will actively review all public comments and suggestions. Please use the comment form to submit any thoughts and ideas regarding the future of Mountain View.

Who will conduct the planning process?

The City has hired a consultant team, MIG Inc, to run the General Plan Update, assist with public involvement and closely collaborate with the community, City and Project Advisory Committee to develop an innovative and holistic document to guide the City for the next 20 years.

Who is the Project Team?

With close collaboration with the City, MIG is leading the planning side of the General Plan Update. MIG is supported by experts in the fields of land use and urban design, transportation, economics and fiscal impacts, sustainability, infrastructure, and health. BAE is leading the Housing Element Update for the City, which will be fully integrated with the General Plan Update. LSA is leading the environmental (EIR) component of the project and will be collaborating closely with the City and MIG throughout the process.

Project Advisory Committee

The City has created a Project Advisory Committee with representatives from the City Council, Environmental Planning Commission (EPC), and the Community Development Department. The Project Advisory Committee will be providing input and direction throughout this process. The members of the Project Advisory Committee, City staff, and the MIG Team are provided below.
