On June 7, the City held its first Community Visioning Workshop at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Over 200 people attended the event, making it a huge success. Click here to view photos from the workshop!
Following a presentation reflecting on Mountain View past and current conditions, participants provided input into future land use decisions by taking a community preference survey. Then, participants discussed their visions for the future in facilitated break-out sessions. This wallgraphic depicts the key themes that emerged during small group discussion.
A short summary of the feedback provided during the Workshop will be presented during the Environmental Planning Commission's upcoming meeting next Wednesday, June 18th. Check back soon for a summary report of the evening's discussions and findings.
Also, stay tuned to hear about next steps in Mountain View's Community Visioning Process! The City plans to hold a second Visioning Workshop in which residents and other stakeholders will have the opportunity to help refine land use concepts proposed in response to the community's vision for Mountain View.
